The overseas Vietnamese communitýs position in the
struggle for VN's territorial integrity

In this article, the writer insisted that the Communist Party of VN has committed the
biggest crime in ceding the most important strategic locations along the Northern Chinese
- Vietnamese border, such as Nam Quan Gateway, half of Ban Gioc Falls, Chi Lang
Gateway and other high positions which prevented previous Chinese invasions, such as in
the Sino - Vietnamese War of 1979. The people of Vietnam will punish the CPV for its
treason over the two treaties:
- The Vietnam - China Land Boundary Treaty of December 30, 1999.
- The Vietnam - China Sea Boundary treaty of December 25, 2000.
The first one is being implemented. The second one is waiting for the National Assemblýs
endorsement.
The December 25, 2000 Treaty, if implemented, will cost Vietnam more than 10000
square kilometers and will make Vietnam and Southeast Asia vulnerable to Chinese
expansion and invasion by its Navy fleet.
The struggle strategies of the Vietnamese community to recover our land/sea territories
will have to include the following points:
- Canvassing our relatives and friends - overseas and in the homeland - on the CPV's
treason to awaken their conscienciousness on our loss of land/sea territories (please refer

- Mobilizing our youths overseas and former RVN military personel to form a substantial
force for the struggle to preserve Vietnam's territorial integrity and terminate the
communist regime.
- Preventing the National Assembly from passing the China - Vietnam Sea Boundary
Treaty.
- Supporting the people in the homeland to protest the CPV's concessions of VN land/sea
territories to China etc...
